5 Nations Native Breed Sale - March 18th 2022 (Archived #246686)

Our seller, Michael Cusiter, herd prefix Lagas was established at Laga Farms, Evie, Orkney Islands, just off the Northeastern coast of Scotland. The Lagas herd is well known for producing cattle that are grazed on natural fertile land thriving in cold hard conditions for many months of the year.  

Lagas Ozzie is a smart, stylish young bull, a beautiful dark roan colour, modern frame size and ideal bull to be used on heifers. His sire Castlemount Kennedy was interbred Native performance champion and reserve overall breeds at RUAS 2017. Ozzie does not carry any myostatin. His calving figures wouldn't reflect this as Elliot Matrix is his grandsire, We have not had any difficulty with calving from Ozzie's sire Castlemount Kennedy and would confidently recommend Ozzie for use on heifers.  Ozzie's dam line goes back to one of the best know cow families at Glenisla the Desiree cow line.  Genetic Test Results Myostatin: E226X-0 , F94L-0 , NT419-0 , NT821-0
