Woodpark Samson is an ET calf full of breeding. Samson has great power and shape and is full of style. Supported by a maternal line of 5 generations in our herd, backup by "Goldies Unbeatable" genetics.

He is a long clean young bull who will grow into a top herd sire for any herd. His dam, Woodpark Alicia is the top cow in the herd, goes back to one of the foundation females in 1973 and is the 5th generation. She has consistently bred well for the herd and had already produced a 6,000gns heifer and two bulls which sold for 11,000gns each Woodpark Elgin and Woodpark Golddust. W Elgin has gone on to be one of the top sires in his generation producing a Stirling champion at 18,000gns and the top-priced heifer at this year’s White Gold Female Sale - 18,000gns.
Woodpark Samson’s sire is the noted Goldies Unbeatable who was junior and interbreed champion at the RHS and later supreme Perth champion sold for 25,000gns. Goldies Unbeatable has around 370 progeny registered in the Charolais database and is breeding super cattle, including Junior champions at both Balmoral and Stirling.

Samson is on here to sell at a more than fair market value, we will assist with haulage where we can, we will ensure the bull is sold with the best will in the world and we are confident Samson will go on and produce the maternal lines we like at Woodpark, lines that we thought worthy of flushing, to an interbreed Champion of the Royal Highland Show. Our seller Will Short from the well known Woodpark herd is nestled in the heart of Tyrone just outside Omagh. Established in 1973 with purchases from the then known Automart, this herd has gone from strength to strength each year to the 45 strong cow herd it is today. Throughout the years with the mix of AI and stock bulls, the herd has bred exceptionally well and has progeny sold to a lot of pedigree breeders throughout Ireland and the UK. The Woodpark herd calves all year round which mean they have a constant supply of sale animals at all times. Great success has been achieved at top shows and sales throughout the north of Ireland and across the water over the years. This is a high health herd that has been breeding Charolais cattle for years and consistently producing prize winners.
