200 Years Strong - Limited edition Artwork

As you are aware we, as a Society, commissioned animal artist Angela Davidson to produce a painting to commemorate our Bicentenary.

The painting, titled ‘200 years strong’, can be seen in the attached and was today presented to our patron HRH The Princess Royal at the Great Yorkshire Show.

We will also be producing 200 limited edition prints that will be available for members to purchase, the first of which (number 1 of the sequence) will be auctioned off at Wednesdays celebratory dinner by Raymond Kennedy.

Those in attendance will be able to bid in person,  but if you wish to take part in the auction then you can lodge a proxy bid with us in advance, phone a friend that is in attendance or bid online via Pedigree Sales.

To ensure we are as fair as possible to those wishing to purchase one of the limited edition prints we will be taking expressions of interest up until the end of August.

At that point if we have more expressions of interest than prints available, we will run a ballot to decide the recipients. If we are undersubscribed, then the prints will be despatched in September to those that have expressed an interest.

Expressions of interest can be lodged in person at Great Yorkshire Show or via Pedigree Sales.

The mounted prints are available in two sizes:

53 x 38.5 cms mounted: £200+ VAT

72 x 52.5 cms mounted £260+ VAT

Postage and packaging will be extra and cost will depend on destination.

Experience tells us that similar limited edition prints have increased in value over time so this may prove to be an investment opportunity as well as a great way to commemorate our Bicentenary.
