5 Nations Native Breed Sale - March 18th 2022 (Archived #246686)

Our seller, Denis Heffernan farms in south county Galway on limestone ground at the foot of the Burren. The farm is run on a commercial basis with many of his commercial & sheep stock out wintered. Denis purchased Cherry from its breeder as a weanling confident that she will become a fabulous cow, and every possibility she will make a mark for herself in the show ring. She has been halter broken and is ready for the show season ahead. 

Cherry is a beautiful red roan heifer, she has plenty of length and growth with breed character in abundance from an exceptional Clounmaccon Cherry cow family. Influential sires in her pedigree include Alta Cedar Lads Legacy 14P & Ballyart Lucky, and the formidable Crega Dice in the mix.  All indicators suggest this Cherry lady will be a productive cow in the making and every possibility of success in the show ring along the way. 

• Delivery can be arranged to any part of Ireland, Northern Ireland or to one central location in the UK mainland
